Dear Dr. {{$doctorName}},

Subject: To understand the diagnosis and management of hepatocellular carcinoma among Oncologists

Hepatocellular Carcinoma is one of the most common type of liver cancer affecting approximately 40000 people across the country and the incidence is increasing at a rate of 2.9% with each year. The clinical trials that assessed the efficacy of treatment options available included Child Pugh A patients. Whereas in Indian context, there are many patients who present with Child Pugh B score at the time of diagnosis.

Therefore, a thorough understanding of treatment and outcomes in these patients is the need of the hour. Also, treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma varies from doctor to doctor and depends upon the availability of these treatment modalities. Hence it is important to understand the treatment prescribed and efficacy outcomes in patients of hepatocellular carcinoma of Child Pugh B score.

We invite you to participate in this survey and share relevant information about the diagnosis and management of hepatocellular carcinoma in real world practice in India.

We trust you and we are partners in promoting safe and effective medical therapy. In that spirit we hope you will consent to participate in this study. If you do, please sign and return the enclosed reply along with your visiting card for accuracy of records.
