Subject: To understand real-world insights from ophthalmologists on Netarsudil use experience in the management of Glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that can cause vision loss and blindness by damaging a nerve in the back of your eye called the optic nerve. It affects millions of people throughout the world and is one of the most common cause of blindness. Prostaglandin Analogues (PGAs) are recommended as 1st line treatment in Glaucoma which ensure an IOP reduction of 25-35% as per latest EGS guidelines. Despite of 1st line treatment, as per studies 30-40% patients are insufficiently controlled by the first lines & these patients might need an additional IOP drop with an add-on drug. Netarsudil, a rock-inhibitor is a new introduction in the glaucoma management in Indian patients.
Hence, this questionnaire-based survey would help us understand specific patient profiles for each of the PGA & reasons why one PGA is preferred over the other. Since there is a difference in practice patterns vs. evidence, a survey with experts will help us understand targeted patient profile for Latoprost RT
