Dear Dr. {{$doctorName}},

Subject: To understand the approaches & treatment preference in the cancer pain management

Around 14,61,427 patients are detected with cancer in India. Among them 3,36,712 patients suffer from moderate to severe cancer pain.

Currently for the management of moderate to severe cancer pain, Doctors refer to WHO pain ladder that acts as a guide to treat pain of different intensity. Different treatment options are available for management of mild, moderate and severe cancer pain. For the management of moderate to severe cancer pain, multiple options like Morphine, Fentanyl, Buprenorphine are available. Safety profile for each of these molecules is different.

Treatment approaches followed for management of slowly progressive cancer pain differ from HCP to HCP. Hence, It is crucial to understand the approaches and treatment preference that are being used more commonly among the oncologist for the treatment of cancer pain.

We invite you to participate in this survey and share relevant information about the management of cancer pain in real world practice in India.
