Many hematological require frequent blood transfusions, that may lead to excess iron in the blood and possess a risk of organ damage.

There are different iron chelators available for the management of chronic iron overload and Deferasirox is one of the most commonly used Iron chelators by the HCPs. However, with the normal dispersible tablet form, there are some GI complications which can impact the treatment adherence and quality of life. Therefore, a thorough understanding of these complications and their management is the need of the hour. Also, the management of adverse events varies from doctor to doctor.
